Song of the day (20-7-2018 edited)

That annoying earworm that stays in your head. And then somewhat adapted to the airport of departure.

The most international number in our repertoire. German, French, Portuguese, … See here.

Fraternally sung by the Italian band at the Connecting through Culture festival. See here.

That has to be Piano man by Billy Joël. Sung twice in one day at the karaoke bar. @Jorgen: “There’s an old man sitting next to me, making love to his tonic and gin.”

The title says it all: Hold on, we go home! A perfect title for the final day. PS The song text is about a loved one and maybe only applies to the karaoke lady of Malta.

Because we were back after midnight, the trip lasted until Tuesday. Therefore another song of the day. I first thought of Drei Tage wach from Lützenkirchen. But the above number (thanks Ruben) fits even better, because the trip feels like one (very) long night. Over way too fast, but packed with beautiful moments and memories!

This means that this temporary category has come to an end.
