Saturday the 15th of September the first Twents Championship Soap box derby washeld. Enyoing a nice autumn sun, self-made soap boxes raced down the Markeloseberg. Spectacle guaranteed! De Braandheultjes filled the breaks between the different competitions. Where the soap boxes went down the mountain at high speed due to gravity, we also had to walk up the mountain again and again!

Met versterking van Markelanees en vaste invaller Niek, konden we het publiek vermaken.  In de wandelgangen hebben we vernomen dat de organisatie plannen heeft voor een tweede editie volgend jaar!

With the reinforcement of Markelanees and regular substitute Niek, we were able to amuse the audience. Unofficial sources have informed us that the organization has plans for a second edition next year!
